BIRDS

Two small birds,

Multicolored,

On the ground,

Or on a branch.

In front of a green background,

Which must be green.

Are they a couple?

They have an eye and a black beak

Now they’re not singing.

Perhaps they are fearful?

Will they fly away?

They are watching...

Their wings are light blue.

Pink Paws,

Yellow body,

I can imagine their songs.

But are they real?
